Terms and Conditions for WP Livestock - sales
1. Sale Format
This sale will utilize the “All Bids In – All Lots Sold” format. The sale will begin closing at 6:55 PM on the designated closing day. If there is no bidding on any lot within the final 5 minutes of the sale, the auction will close. If a bid is placed within the final 5 minutes, the clock will reset, and 5 additional minutes will be added to the countdown for all lots. This process will continue until no bids are placed for 5 consecutive minutes, at which point the sale will close. Buyers are encouraged to monitor their lots until the sale is officially closed.
2. Terms of Sale
All cattle and frozen genetics must be settled by check, credit card, or cash prior to load out or pickup of frozen genetics, unless payment arrangements have been pre-approved in writing by WP Livestock. Cattle and/or genetics will not be released until full payment is received. All sales are subject to these terms and conditions. Full payment is due within 30 days after the sale ends.
3. Breeding Interest
The Previous Owner reserves the right to retain breeding interest on all lots sold during the Brahman Legacy Series. Any genetics produced from animals prior to their sale will grant the Previous Owner the rights to register the progeny. Other terms will be in individual lot descriptions
4. Viewing
Live cattle lots will be available for viewing by appointment at 2580 Lawson Rd., Mathews, AL 36052, or at guest consignors location Please contact sale management to schedule a viewing.
5. Export Requirements
Cattle or frozen genetics exported from the United States must comply with U.S. Export Administration Regulations. Purchasers bear all expenses for health tests required by foreign countries after the sale. WP Livestock assumes no responsibility for cattle sold for exportation that do not pass the necessary health tests. All cattle are sold “AS IS” without warranties or guarantees.
6. Bidding
Each lot will be sold to the highest bidder above reserve. WP Livestock reserves the right to settle any bidding disputes, and all decisions made by the sale manager shall be final. The sales will be broadcasted on auction.wplivestock.com. All bids will be kept confidential with guaranteed satisfaction.
7. Sight-Unseen Purchases
Purchasers who buy cattle sight-unseen do so at their own risk. WP Livestock assumes no responsibility for sight-unseen purchases. Cattle are sold “AS IS” once payment is received, with no warranties or guarantees. If additional information is needed, please contact sale management.
8. Identification
Each animal is sold with its holding brand and individual private herd number. Buyers are responsible for verifying the accuracy of the identification information provided.
9. Certificate of Registry
A transfer of ownership will be provided to the purchaser for each registered animal once payment is settled. Please provide your full name, address, and association membership account number to ensure proper transfer of ownership.
10. Health Information
All cattle offered in the sale are eligible for interstate shipment within the United States unless otherwise noted. Health tests for export are the responsibility of the buyer, with guarantees limited to 60 days.
11. Pickup and Feeding Policy
Buyers are required to arrange pickup of live cattle within two weeks of the sale’s closing date. A two-week grace period will be provided for pickup, during which no fees will be charged. After this grace period, the buyer will be charged a daily boarding fee of $8 per day for cattle on pasture and $15 per day for cattle on full feed until the cattle are picked up. WP Livestock will communicate with buyers to coordinate pickup and any necessary boarding arrangements. The storage location of frozen genetics (semen, embryos, etc.) will be specified in the description of each individual lot. Frozen genetics will be released to the buyer upon full payment.
12. Cattle Loadout
The buyer is responsible for coordination of all shipping and transportation arrangements at their cost. Cattle can be loaded out after the payment has been received and cleared. WP Livestock will assist with coordinating loadout but assumes no responsibility for shipping.
Terms and Conditions for Brahmans of Renown Semen Giveaway
1. Eligibility
• This giveaway is open only to legal residents of the United States who are 19 years of age or older at the time of entry, per Alabama law.
• Employees, officers, directors, and immediate family members of WP Livestock or its affiliates are not eligible to participate.
• Void where prohibited by law.
2. Giveaway Period
• The giveaway begins on March 8, 2025, at 12:00 AM CST and ends on March 8, 2025, at 8:00 PM CST (Central Standard Time).
• All entries for both the Account Creation Giveaway and Bidding Prize Giveaway must be received by 8:00 PM CST on March 8, 2025, at the close of the Brahmans of Renown auction.
3. How to Enter
• Account Creation Giveaway:
• New users: Create an account on auction.wplivestock.com to receive one (1) entry.
• Existing users: Text “ENTER” to 334-590-7535 to receive one (1) entry.
• Limit one (1) entry per person. Creating multiple accounts or texting multiple times will not increase your chances of winning and may result in disqualification.
• Bidding Prize Giveaway:
• Place a bid on any lot during the Brahmans of Renown auction on auction.wplivestock.com. Each lot bid on earns one (1) entry. Multiple bids on the same lot do not increase entries.
• No purchase is necessary to enter the Account Creation Giveaway. Entering the Bidding Prize Giveaway requires participation in the auction.
4. Winner Selection
• Winners will be randomly selected from all valid entries received.
• Account Creation Giveaway: One (1) winner will be selected for every twenty (20) total entries, rounded to the nearest integer (e.g., 50 entries = 2 winners).
• Bidding Prize Giveaway: One (1) winner will be selected for every twenty (20) total entries, rounded to the nearest integer (e.g., 320 entries = 16 winners).
• Winners will be notified via email or text within 3 business days after the giveaway ends (by March 11, 2025). If a winner does not respond within 5 days, an alternate winner may be selected.
5. Prizes
• Prize Options (Winner’s Choice):
• One (1) straw of semen from MR. V8 739/7 CHIVALRY, JDH MR FUSIG MANSO 226/1, or JDH MR DUCOTE MANSO 509/8, plus one (1) AI certificate.
• OR Five (5) straws of semen from RLB MR JUICE 316, plus one (1) AI certificate.
• Additional AI certificates may be purchased at the standard rate but are not included in the prize.
• Prizes are non-transferable, non-exchangeable, and have no cash value.
• USA Only Restriction: Prizes are available to winners residing in the United States only. No export of semen outside the USA is permitted due to USDA and international biosecurity regulations.
6. General Conditions
• By entering, participants agree to be bound by these terms and conditions and the decisions of WP Livestock, which are final and binding in all matters relating to the giveaway.
• WP Livestock reserves the right to disqualify any entry or participant who violates these terms, tampers with the entry process, or engages in fraudulent activity (e.g., creating multiple accounts for additional entries).
• In the event of a dispute, entries will be deemed made by the authorized account holder of the email or phone number submitted at the time of entry.
• WP Livestock is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries, or for technical failures of any kind.
7. Limitation of Liability
• WP Livestock is not responsible for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from participation in the giveaway or acceptance, possession, or use of prizes.
• Prizes are provided “as is” with no warranties beyond those offered by the semen provider.
8. Publicity
• By accepting a prize, winners consent to the use of their name and likeness for promotional purposes by WP Livestock without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.
9. Termination or Modification
• WP Livestock reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend the giveaway if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor beyond its control impairs the integrity or proper functioning of the giveaway, as determined by WP Livestock in its sole discretion.
10. Governing Law
• This giveaway is governed by the laws of the state of Alabama without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Montgomery County, Alabama.
